Colchicum hungaricum, popularly known as the Hungarian crocus, is a species of Colchicum found in Hungary, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, and Bulgaria.[1] It has white or pinkish-lilac flowers and blooms in very early spring.[2] It was first described by Viktor Janka in 1886.[3]
