Friends officially is off Netflix. The new decade came in and Friends, unfortunately, came out. It’s a sad beginning to the new year as one of the most-watched and beloved television shows is gone. People won’t be able to watch Friends until May when it gets relaunched with HBO Max. It’s the beginning of some of the most popular televisions shows being taken off of Netflix and onto their respective companies streaming platforms.
People expressed their heartbreak on Twitter, but there were some people having a different reaction. United States users lost Friends, but everyone in other regions didn’t. It’s sad how that works out. We are the only ones without the show. This is just the beginning too, with almost every major network creating their own streaming service and taking their shows back. At the beginning of 2021, The Office will be removed. We will soon be blocked from two of the best shows to be shown on television, and have to pay for another service just to watch them.
