Humans have been leaving their mark since we first populated Earth. The early Hawaiians did it too. Here in Hawaii you can still find traces of all these communication skills, “Petroglyphs”. They are found on every island in the chain, but the Big Island of Hawaii has the most. You never know when walking across lava, when you will find one. You just need to pay attention.

I have a different take on petroglyphs. When we dive on the reefs, like walking across a lava field, we see the natural formations in the coral. I have to think the ancients did too, in some way, be inspired by the natural art work found all around them. Here are my favorites we have come across. Aloha
