Black Friday 2019

I can not pass up a sale. It doesn't matter what the item is, if it's on sale I have an urge to purchase it immediately. So for someone like me, Black Friday should be the day of all days! However, I was underwhelmed this year. Black Friday deals use to be constantly advertised and in your face the entire month of November, but this year it felt like a scavenger hunt to find them. Then when I did find them, nothing stood out to me or caught my attention. But the most shocking part was the actual stores on Black Friday...it felt like a normal day! No long lines, few people, and I could actually find parking. With the rise of Amazon and online shopping, this shouldn't shock me, but yet it did. It's just another realization that everything truly is turning digital.
