World Password Day

Come one come all to World Password Day! A day to find out if you are really that secure or if your password is as strong and durable as a piece of paper and I’m not talking about sandpaper. Have you ever thought about being hacked or the possibility of someone finding out your password and having access to everything in your life? Well let me talk to you about the top ways to prevent someone from getting access to your weak password.

First off, don’t pick a simple password to be your main password. If you do anything make sure you create a new password that will allow you to have it remembered, but also unique enough for it to be different and unable for a robot to get into. One example is to make a phrase or put random words together and you can even add a space in between. Example, I really hate the beer at the local brewery OR robot shark blue volleyball human. Random passwords also help a robot not be able to figure out the next possible word through context. Next tip, use special characters to change words up. Example change the E to a 3 or change L for 1 or change the S to a $. Make up a new word using letters and special characters. My last tip for you all is don’t allow for any browsers to save your passwords, it is a proven way for any hacker to jump into a browser and steal passwords and usernames. So be careful on who you trust when dealing with passwords.

Hope you don’t get hacked! Good luck!
