Mothers Day (Late Post)

It is the one day that we truly set aside everything and say thank you to our lovely mothers for everything they have done. It is a beautiful relationship that any child has with their mother. A mother is an amazing person simply for taking care of her child. A mother’s love is unlike any other. Without a doubt a mother can be overbearing and give some very tough love, but it is still her way of showing love. Every mother is different in her own aspects, but one thing will always stand true, they will always protect you and love you until they are gone. A mother’s love is like an infinite flame burning for an endless eternity. No matter how bad the times get the flame will continually burn no matter how dark it gets. I believe a mother’s love is completely infinite for the child she bears. It is sad at some times where we cannot fully comprehend the amount of thought a mother puts into a child’s life. She carries you for 9 months, and then takes care of you until she cannot take care of herself. Growing up you take a plethora of things for granted, I would say your mother is one of them. A child will always take a mother’s guidance, support and love for granted because they cannot understand that it is a privilege that a mother would do all of these things out of the goodness of her heart. I the writer am 25 years old, a fully grown man still learning life, but I do realize now that the things a mother did in the past reflect who she is as a person. A mother in no way has to take care of you, be nice to you, support you or even love you. Some will and some won’t. Consider yourself lucky to have mother who cherishes you and will do everything in her power to make your life better. Give her a kiss on the forehead and say thank you for everything followed with a hug, it’ll go a long way.
