This
is a picture of me and some of the guys I
grew up with (top left). The year was 1972; we were all 17, 18 years old. The world
and
our future all in front of us. We went to school together; we worked
jobs
together from early ages. This is Gene's Esso gas station; we ran it at
night
and worked on our cars. None of us had to go off to war; John (middle
left)
took his life way to young. Joey, upper right has passed at the young
age of 64. I now think of all of our Fathers at this age. They
were fighting for their lives, marching across Africa, Europe, and Island hopping the Pacific. All
so, this picture could be possible. Here’s to our Parents generation, it was
the greatest.
We miss you Mom & Dad
