The Baltimore Ravens lead the way with five players selected, and the New Orleans Saints coming in second with three players. The All-Pro team had two unanimous selectees in Michael Thomas and Stephon Gilmore. Those players are deserving of that honor dominating throughout the season. However, the shock came as was the most electric player of the season and probable MVP in Lamar Jackson was not unanimously selected. He received 57 of the 60 votes with the other three votes going to Russell Wilson. Jackson has been a potential highlight moment every time he snaps the ball, and lead the charge for the high-powered Baltimore offense. To have the first person in history to throw for over 3,000 yards passing and rush for over 1,000 yards, and lead the league in touchdowns seems like a clear miss.

Another notable achievement was Carolina Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey becoming the first player to be selected for two positions, running back and flex position. Flex has become a relatively new position and is used to select the player that mostly reflects who was the most universal player. McCaffrey was only the third player to have 1,000 yards rushing and receiving in the same season. The position compares to fantasy football teams having a flex position used for any receiving players.

Other notable selections were Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald and Seattle Seahawks linebacker being selected for the fifth time. Additionally, two players that got traded this year, Ravens cornerback Marcus Peters and Steelers safety Minkah Fitzpatrick got selected showing what their former teams missed out on.
