WPCleaner is a tool designed to help with various maintenance tasks, especially repairing links to disambiguation pages, checking Wikipedia, fixing spelling and typography, and helping with translation of articles coming from other wikis.

It works on 56 wikis and can be configured to work on any other wiki. It has been translated, at least partially, into 31 languages. More translations can be added.

This tool has been developed in Java, and should be able to run on any computer equipped with Java SE 8.0 or later. WPCleaner installation is usually simple. Source code is available on GitHub.

Please note that running automated edits to clean up anything marked "Cosmetic" on the list requires bot approval unless the cosmetic edit is coupled with a more substantial edit. In addition, the edits which are made in response to certain rules (such as in Bot Tools), or the CheckWiki portion of the program are not always infallible, so you should be prepared to respond to queries about such edits promptly.

Though the tool allows a user to bypass redirects in a single action, please be mindful of WP:NOTBROKEN as well. Not all redirecting links need to be bypassed, especially since some redirects are placeholders for articles to be created in the future.
