Should Healthcare.gov be added? XOttawahitech (talk) 19:03, 17 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Ottawahitech I just added it. I just called around in Texas to find that this state has no state website or state branded offer for their health insurance exchange, and they direct everyone to Healthcare.gov. I assumed that every state participated themselves, but it seems that some states do not publicly comment on their participation on their websites and it is not at all obvious how to get information on what they do. In the case of Texas, at least, I was directed by BeCoveredTexas.org - a quasi-grassroots but insurance-funded and managed effort - to go only to the federal government website. I was unable to find a state government recommendation of where to go. Blue Rasberry (talk) 15:37, 9 July 2014 (UTC)Reply
Ah, I see it is added in its own category. I am leaving both entries. It is a bit confusing that some states have entries, and some do not. I thought that perhaps some Wikipedia articles had not been made about some exchanges, but the reality is that for many states information is hard to find. Right now there is a listing as a federal exchange, and there is a listing of the federal exchange as an option for the states which do not appear. Blue Rasberry (talk) 15:39, 9 July 2014 (UTC)Reply
