The listing of leaders here is a little confusing. Foster, Browder and Dennis ran the party in a kind of collegial wary from the 1930s through the fifties, one having more or less influence at any particular time. Foster was chairmen or chairman emiterus throughout that period and Browder was General Secretary until replaced by Denis in 1945.--Bellerophon5685 (talk) 04:52, 21 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
