This template's initial visibility currently defaults to autocollapse, meaning that if there is another collapsible item on the page (a navbox, sidebar, or table with the collapsible attribute), it is hidden apart from its title bar; if not, it is fully visible.

To change this template's initial visibility, the |state= parameter may be used:

• {{Year in baseball|state=collapsed}} will show the template collapsed, i.e. hidden apart from its title bar.
• {{Year in baseball|state=expanded}} will show the template expanded, i.e. fully visible.

Usage edit

1. Place {{Year in baseball top|this year=<insert year here>}} at the top of the new page
2. Place {{Year in baseball|this year=<insert year here>}} at the bottom of the new page

• Note: It is not necessary to include a category in the new page; {{Year in baseball top}} will categorize the new page for you.
