Last Week Tonight with John Oliver is an American late-night talk show created and hosted by John Oliver for HBO. The show takes a satirical look at the week in news, politics and current events.[1]
As of March 17, 2024,[update] 295 episodes of Last Week Tonight with John Oliver have aired.[2] The tenth season of the show premiered on February 19, 2023.[3]
In May 2023, production was temporarily halted due to the 2023 Writers Guild of America strike.[4] The strike ended on September 27, 2023, and production of the show resumed.[5] As a result, there were 21 episodes in Season 10 rather than the standard 30.
