Administrative Districts edit

At the time of the 2010 Census the Regency was divided into seventeen districts (kecamatan), but two additional districts (Dungaliyo and Bilato) have subsequently been created by splitting of existing districts. The districts are tabulated below with their areas and their populations at the 2010 Census[2] and 2020 Census,[3] together with the official estimates as at mid 2023.[1] The table also includes the locations of the district administrative centres, the number of administrative villages in each district (totaling 191 rural desa and 14 urban kelurahan - the latter being those comprising the district of Limboto town), and its postal codes.
