Basil III (Greek: Βασίλειος Γʹ; 1846 – September 29, 1929), born Vasileios Georgiadis (Βασίλειος Γεωργιάδης)[citation needed], was Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople[1] from July 13, 1925 until his death in 1929.[citation needed]
